Hybrid Flooring

Hybrid Flooring

Hybrid flooring is the new technology floor products, which just been manufactured and imported to Australia since late of the year 2017. Hybrid flooring is 100% water proof and represents next generation flooring manufacturing techniques.

This next generation Hybrid flooring is dimensionally stable, highly durable and suitable for interior waterproof installations providing instant appeal for modern housing, light commercial and retail shop fit out.

Hybrid Flooring has RCB, SPC and WPC types.

The Rigid Composite Core Board (RCB) flooring is new technology flooring. The RCB core is manufactured from inert mineral compounds that are stable and provide water proof and little or no movement; this enables excellent performance characteristics not commonly associated within the Luxury Vinyl Tile category. The plank construction also incorporates a robust water based PU coating for everyday scuff resistance. 0.5 m wear layer and printed visual décor provides realistic timber textures and colors in both classic Australian timber species and a contemporary colour palette. Each plank incorporates a stabilizing balance layer on the underside with an attached acoustic cross-linked IXPE foam layer that delivers excellent noise reduction performance.

The Stone Polymer Composite Flooring (SPC) is an engineered flooring that combines limestone and stabilizers to create an extremely durable core. SPC floor is 100% water proof, but adds extra stability, dent resistance and structure comparing normal vinyl flooring.

The Wood Plastic Composite (WPC) Flooring is an engineered flooring, which is manufactured with a wood-plastic composite backing instead of a solid PVC backing.  The engineered backing combines recycled wood pulp and plastic composites to form a bond of strength and stability. This is then topped with a standard vinyl top layer. A WPC vinyl is thicker than your traditional vinyl, so you’ll have a similar feel to a laminate.
